Biography

Since 2008, jewellery designer Mélanie Denis creates her collections in her workshop, located in Quebec City. Her artistic approach consists in bringing together the sculptural universe of jewellery with the two-dimensional aspect of collage. These pieces are created by assembling graphics and incorporating various recycled materials such as broken bus stop glass, rusted iron plaques or old photographs. She likes the uniqueness the use of these elements brings to each creation. Therefore, every creation is enriched by those many little graphic details that must often be observed closely, giving them a more enigmatic aspect. Each piece is UNIQUE and invites you on a journey at the heart of today’s jewellery.
